I took this photo a few years back while at home in Washington during Thanksgiving break. This particular clearing was right next to a rocky river (you can see the riverbed underneath the leaves), in the middle of the forest. I used a self timer and tripod to capture this shot, and then used Photoshop to mask the color of myself through.
